Even though it's not really Japanese, we've made these bad boys our own here at Sushi World. We use the same spread we use for our California Rolls and slather them in Jalapeno halves that are then battered in tempura and then fried. Yep, they're quite awesome.
Shrimp Tempura is such a simple item that we use in many, many other items. To start, they are the center of many of our sushi rolls, like our Shrimp Tempura Roll, Cypress Roll, Jungle Fever Roll, Snowman Roll, Crunchy Roll, Red Dragon Roll, and our White Dragon Roll. It's also featured in our Tempura Udon Soup and our Curry Udon! While we use it a lot in other dishes, don't forget you can always get them on their own as as appetizer. It is very kid-friendly.
